Michelle became a NYS Certified Art Teacher in 2009 after graduating from Adelphi's Master in Art Education program. Michelle started her career teaching in several small studios and councils such as Smithtown Arts Council, GSB YMCA, and Studio E. In 2010 she began teaching in NYIT's Vocational Independence Program (VIP), which is a post secondary school for students who have IEPs. Besides teaching vocational and life skills courses, she also taught weekly upper level art classes and summer camps for her students. In 2012, she and her husband Stelios purchased the business Studio E, after Michelle had taught there part time for several years. Form 2013-2016 she taught elementary art full time in Miller Place School District. In 2016, she started her family and made the decision to just teach in Studio E. Michelle enjoys helping students to realize their creative and artistic potential. Over the years she has helped many find their artistic voice, while fine-tuning technique to help them become stronger artists!
