About Our Classes:
Teachers are Michelle and Stelios Stylianou. Miss Michelle has a Masters in Education from Adelphi University, and 20+ years experience teaching art. She is certified in both FL and NY. Mr. Stelios has a Bachelors of Fine Art from Stony Brook University and 20+ years experience teaching pottery classes.
Tuition is $400/ 8 week session. Includes a two hour weekly class, all clay, glazes and firings. All wheel students will have their own dedicated wheel. Room for only six pottery wheel students per class. Classes sizes are small with individualized attention, geared towards personal growth. Tuition is the same for all age levels and classes.

Children ages 5-9 will learn techniques in hand-building, creating guided projects each week. Students will build, trim and glaze their projects, learning the many skills needed for building sculptures with clay. Students may also work with their own hand-building project ideas. Instructors, Michelle and Stelios will guide students toward incremental growth in handbuilding. Students must be ten years old to learn how to use an electric pottery wheel.
Tweens and Teens ages 10-17 will learn pottery wheel basics, building upon their knowledge from week to week. Students will learn the basics of throwing, trimming, handbuilding and glazing. This class works as an independent study, and instructors Michelle and Stelios will work with students towards their own personal growth. There is room for only six pottery wheel students in this class, and each is guaranteed their own dedicated wheel.
Adults: We now have an adult class on Wednesday Evenings from 6-8PM! Space is extremely limited! Email Stelios@anclotepottery.com to ensure there is space before registering for this class! Or, you may register with their child in any of the evening classes. You will just need register for a session for yourself as well! Adults will have their own dedicated pottery wheel, and will have the opportunity to toggle between hand building and throwing on a pottery wheel. Students will receive individualized instruction based on their goals.
